TVGuide.com: Is learning to dance your way of unwinding after the Olympics?

Evan Lysacek: [Laughs] The Olympics were so amazing and it’s sad to see it end, but I’m happy to have a new challenge. My schedule was pretty full after the Olympics, so I didn’t think I could make this work. I first started watching when Apolo was on, but I really got into it when Kristi was on because I could go watch it live. Kristi told me that it’s not as easy as you think it’s going to be.

TVGuide.com: A lot of people think skating and dancing are similar.

Lysacek: I thought there could be some of my skating that I could use, but there’s really not. In dance, you count and in skating, you use the phrasing of the music, so I’m learning how to count. We rotate everything in skating counterclockwise and they rotate clockwise. I feel like I’m getting more dizzy than I would be if I were just skating.

TVGuide.com: What’s been the hardest for you?

Lysacek: I’ve never had a partner for anything. I’m just getting used to having to hold somebody else’s hand while I’m doing everything. When I’m learning something new, I usually don’t want anyone around me. Anna [Trebunskaya] is just holding onto me the whole time, so it’s very different.

TVGuide.com: Do you wish you were an ice dancer now?

Lysacek: [Laughs] No. I don’t know if this is like ice dancing. Maybe it is, actually. It’s very difficult to keep your feet coordinated with your partner’s feet. I have bowlegs, which makes it worse! Every time I bend my knee, it makes, like, a sharp right-hand turn. … [The Viennese waltz] has a very different knee rhythm and knee action than I’m used to, so I keep rising up at the wrong time and bending down at the wrong time, so I end up kneeing [Anna] in the leg.

TVGuide.com: You’ve gotten some criticism over your career for being more athletic than artistic. Does that fire you up even more to tackle dancing?

Lysacek: Yeah, you’re right. That’s definitely one of the reasons why I wanted to do the show — because I have been criticized, really throughout my whole career, for not having musicality, having no grace, no dance ability, which people have said. It’s kind of my opportunity to prove critics wrong, I hope. I’m just working hard and listening to Anna. She’s my partner, but she’s my coach too. She’s trying to figure out a way to get over the bump and teach me how to have finesse.

TVGuide.com: I thought it was funny that you’re paired with Anna since she’s Russian and you just had the whole quad-debacle with Evgeni Plushenko.

Lysacek: [Laughs] I thought it was funny too. All the girls are so gorgeous and so talented, so I would’ve taken any of them. I wasn’t nervous about who I was going to get, but I thought for a second that Anna might resent me because I beat her countryman. But she didn’t! To find out that she’s so nice and so sweet is really refreshing.

TVGuide.com: Vera Wang designs your skating costumes. Are you going to recruit her for your Dancing ones too?

Lysacek: Vera’s been great to me, but they have a really good wardrobe department and they let the star and the dancer have a lot of input. So when everyone says, “Oh, they’re putting me in these crazy outfits!” They’re not! They pretty much let you decide. I told them I have a specific taste and I would like the costumes to reflect that as much as possible. Unless there’s not time for me to have input, then they’ll put me in whatever.

TVGuide.com: Who do you think is your biggest competition?

Lysacek: Everybody! Especially Nicole Scherzinger — I’m sure she’s going to be incredible. Chad Ochocinco, obviously another athlete. The Bachelor [Jake Pavelka] and Kate Gosselin are actually really graceful, so I think they’ll be stiff competition too. I’ve never really seen them move yet, but I’m judging from our filming day when we were all together and they were two that I definitely thought were pretty graceful — more graceful than me! But I will work my hardest to learn to be.

TVGuide.com: Scott Hamilton and Sandra Bezic kept reminding us during the Olympics that you put in more hours than any other skater they know.

Lysacek: That’s my philosophy. I may not be the best dancer from the start, but I’ll work the hardest. Skating is not like dancing where you have to learn a different style. Skating is like, I learn the choreography and I perfect only the moves that I have in my program. When I perform my program, I can tell if the elements are good because I’ve been working on them for eight months, but as far as a specific type of movement and style and being able to do it instantly, this is so much harder. But I’m here to work hard and learn fast.

The video features Lady Gaga in jail, getting stripped and tossed into a cell. Gaga then steps out into the yard, in chains. Then a fight breaks out in a shared cell with other inmates, when it’s announced that Gaga has a call from Beyonce.

The video then features half naked dancers all around the cell, while Gaga struts the walk in a bikini with beer cans in her hair.

Gaga gets sprung from jail by Beyonce, who says she’s been a very, very bad girl. Beyonce then sings her part and they pull up to a diner where Bey poisons her boyfriend. All of the sudden, now we’re cooking with Gaga! But it’s more poison served up to Bey’s boyfriend. As it turns out, they’ve poisoned the entire restaurant.

After seeing her spiky porcupine hairstyle, I would have to say that this is a total improvement. Obviously that isn’t saying that much, but it’s something.

On a side note, how long do you think she’s going to last on Dancing With The Stars?

He said, “I kind of want to do an album at the end of the year. All my friends are recording albums and I’m very annoyed about it. But I can’t do two things at once. I don’t know how people like Jennifer Lopez can act and also sing. I’m just like, ‘I can’t.’ But, hopefully, I’ll find some time to get it together.”

He also previously revealed, “I write songs, that’s true. I’ll record a few tracks as soon as I finish the promotion for the movies, but before I won’t do anything. Like I might call all these people about what’s fun to do tonight and end up with four different options, which in itself would put me into a blind panic; but then I’ll make another four calls just to make it ten times more anxiety-ridden.”

Kristen felt the need to defend the cough and even went as far as explaining herself.

She said, “I wouldn’t have been able to finish the sentence had I not gone and cleared my throat. Then I would’ve gotten more criticism for not being able to speak at the Oscars – which is worse than clearing your throat at the Oscars. It’s all good. There are a few things that replay in my head like, oh that happened, why? Why? A lot of it I find funny. The coughing I did find funny. This is going to baffle some people, but I was so proud of myself that night. I didn’t fall down or anything!”

I still don’t see what the big deal was over an “ahem” at the Oscars. PS. I loved her dress!

When asked if she could see herself with a woman, she said, “Of course. There are no rules or limits when it comes to love. But I see love as separate from sex. And I happen to love male sexuality. Men have something I lack, but that I really value.”

She isn’t ready to settle down, however, after admitting that she fears her career would be over. She added, “Love is about danger, always. Love jumps off cliffs, love is irrational. I don’t care what anyone says, I still love her music.

In this version, the inability to escape from his couch is a pretty powerful statement about the weak feelings a lot of smart people get when their life goes nowhere day after day no matter how much energy they put into creating opportunity.

This version of the video is more bubbly and could be mistaken for a self-congratulating piece, if not for the twist at the end. I think the meaning of the song passed over a lot of people with this version, which may explain why there is now an alternate. Kid Cudi gets a lot of respect from me for making people think about what he’s saying in his songs, he seems like an artist I could genuinely have a philosophical discussion with and come away with a deeper level of meaning (that’s a huge compliment coming from me). Bravo to him and I wish him the best of luck in finding that happiness wherever it may be. (special thanks to reddit for providing the link)

Lindsay is saying that the baby from the commercial of the same name is modeled after her and she wants $100 million for her pain and suffering.

Page Six reports:

The actress filed a lawsuit yesterday in Nassau County Supreme Court over the commercial that debuted during the Super Bowl this year.

The ad — part of a series starring babies who play the stock market — features a boy apologizing to his girlfriend via video chat for not calling her the night before.

“And that milkaholic Lindsay wasn’t over?” the baby girl asks him suspiciously.

“Lindsay?” the boy replies, just before a baby girl sticks her head into the frame and slurs, “Milk-a-what?”

Her attorney, Stephanie Ovadia, said, “Many celebrities are known by one name only, and E-Trade is using that knowledge to profit. They used the name Lindsay. They’re using her name as a parody of her life. Why didn’t they use the name Susan? This is a subliminal message. Everybody’s talking about it and saying it’s Lindsay Lohan.”

Ovadia is trying to get the commercial forced from the air. It’s not like Lindsay trademarked her first name and she’s no Madonna or Oprah, so she needs to get off that high horse. And what the crap? Is she mad because milkaholic sounds a lot like alcoholic?

At one point I have to wonder if her attorney looked at her and said, “Are you serious? You want me to sue E-Trade for WHAT?”

This video is like a much cuter version of Baby One More Time with its hallway dancing. And it looks like they all had a blast making the video.

Amy said, “It’s going in an electro-pop direction — there are no organic instruments. It’s a Portishead or Massive Attack direction, and lyrically it’s about moving on, but in a very non-confrontational, non-angry way.”

She said that there will also be elements of the turmoil she faced as she enlisted new band members for the album. She said, “There’s a lot of bullsh*t related to that band name for me, but I’m ready to move past it. I’ve realized that Evanescence is who I am. There are moments of, ‘Hey, I’m over it and I’m good’ and others of fun sarcasm like, ‘Hey, everything’s not the most dramatic thing in the world’ on the new record. But it gets really, really, really deep in places, too. That’s probably why it’s been really hard to pick an album title. Lyrically, it’s a more real version of myself. I’m saying things that I would’ve been afraid to say before.”

The upcoming album is slated for a fall 2010 release and is yet to be titled.

The Hannah Montana actress dished on what she liked first about Liam, taking a shopping break in Australia and her cameo in the upcoming Sex and the City movie.

TEEN VOGUE: Miley, before you went to Georgia to film The Last Song, you had just gotten out of a relationship. How did you change over the next few months?
MILEY CYRUS: In L.A., I had so many security blankets, people helping me with everything. I tried to book my friend a flight, and I didn’t know how because I was used to someone doing it for me. I didn’t want a babysitter anymore. I came to Tybee Island crying harder than I had ever cried in my life—and I left with the biggest smile on my face.

TEEN VOGUE: What were your first impressions of each other?
MILEY CYRUS: He’s really tall. I thought, Either I’m going to have to be in heels or standing on something for this entire movie! He definitely showed chivalry: I remember him opening the door for the director, and I was like, Wow.
LIAM HEMSWORTH: I have very good parents (laughs). It was funny—working with Miley was a lot easier than I thought it was going to be. From the first time we read, it was like I had known her before.

TEEN VOGUE: So, you had chemistry right away?
MILEY CYRUS: Yeah. I think we’re both deeper than normal people—what they think and how they feel. He’s very grateful for what he has, but he doesn’t let it go to his head. I’m like that too.

TEEN VOGUE: How many people did you read with?
MILEY CYRUS: Only three. The audition process is so intense.
LIAM HEMSWORTH: Basically, you’re thrown into a room and judged.
MILEY CYRUS: It’s like American Idol, but worse.

TEEN VOGUE: Isn’t that pretty much every day in Los Angeles?
MILEY CYRUS: Uh-huh, but you pay your bills with what they say.
LIAM HEMSWORTH: At the start of this year, I flew to L.A. to do a screen test for a film [Thor] that my brother ended up getting. There are a billion people there trying to do what we do.

TEEN VOGUE: You seem very at ease with each other.
MILEY CYRUS: Honestly, people do not always get along on set, so for two people to want to be together this much …

TEEN VOGUE: Just you, Liam, and the 3 million fans in Georgia.
MILEY CYRUS: I’m happy to meet them, and it’s flattering, but I couldn’t focus. Can you imagine someone at their office—like at a computer—and people are chanting at them while they’re trying to work?
LIAM HEMSWORTH: The first day, I walked out, and one end of the beach was blocked off for fans—screaming kids. I’d never seen that before. It was quite amazing.
MILEY CYRUS: Sometimes you have to remember, OK, what would I have been like if I had met my favorite singer? It is exciting.

TEEN VOGUE: Speaking of music, I read that you’re giving it up?
MILEY CYRUS: The more I make music that doesn’t truly inspire me, the more I feel like I’m blending in with everyone else. So after this next album, I’m taking some time off.

TEEN VOGUE: Liam, do you sing?
LIAM HEMSWORTH: I don’t sing well.
MILEY CYRUS: It’s refreshing to work with an actor who isn’t also a singer and dancer and musician and artist and this and that. I’m sick of quadruple threats who do everything when they should stick to one thing.

TEEN VOGUE: So he’s just a threat?
MILEY CYRUS: He’s a really freaking good actor is what he is. And he’s cute—so he’s got that.

TEEN VOGUE: You guys spent New Year’s in Australia, where Liam is from. Did you have fun?
MILEY CYRUS: I’m used to being in Times Square or something like that, so having a day to chill was awesome. And I got to hang out with his family and friends and see where he grew up.

TEEN VOGUE: I hear the Hemsworths are big surfers. Did you try?
MILEY CYRUS: Nooo. I was like, I’m gonna go to Melbourne and take a shopping break.

TEEN VOGUE: You weren’t the supportive girlfriend waving from the beach?
MILEY CYRUS: No. I was the brat who didn’t watch. I’m not “cute movie” like that.

TEEN VOGUE: Your on-screen roles have been pretty cute movie so far. Now that you’re shooting the last season of Hannah Montana, will there be more of that?
MILEY CYRUS: I’m working on lots of different films: drama, action, comedy. I like challenges, so I’m doing a little bit of everything.

TEEN VOGUE: And you have a cameo in Sex and the City 2. Do you identify with any of the main characters?
MILEY CYRUS: I know everyone says Carrie, but I love Kim Cattrall, so I’ll say Samantha. I want to be her because she’s the hottest, she’s funny, and she has attitude.

TEEN VOGUE: With all of these projects winding down, maybe you’ll be able to take some time off and relax.
MILEY CYRUS: I don’t know if you noticed the past few years of my career? I don’t really believe in breaks.

Ever since the news broke that Josh was cheating on her with a stripper from Atlanta, the couple have reportedly rededicated themselves to their marriage.

A source said, “A baby is their number one priority to making a fresh start. They both want to start a family as quickly as possible.”

Are you buying it?

She said, “I’ve been tweeting vicariously through my friend who is on my show, Emily Osment. So I’m like, ‘For all the life that you live on Twitter, I’ll live through you.’ So I’m always like, ‘What are people saying?’”

She added that she got Emily to post a photo of her recently for their fans. She said, “I posted a pictures on there the other day. She took my picture and I said just write ‘Hi from Miley.’ I stood by a thing of hay and said, ‘Hey!’ and that was it.”

Dave said, “Foo Fighters have just started writing and we’re going to start recording in September so life is full of music.”
